Lativah Greene is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Compassionate Helpers, which is one of the fastest-growing Black-owned healthcare centers in the country.
She is a serial entrepreneur from Detroit, Michigan, and got selected as a 2021 Forbes Next 1000 Honoree. She started to volunteer for non-profit organizations (NGOs) at a young age. Tragic struck when her grandmother was diagnosed with heart disease and no agency would accept the low-income seniors. This prompt her to use her healthcare experience and background to establish Compassionate Helpers in 2009, which is a family-owned business and became the number one affordable source for senior services.
Lativah company provides services to all ages be it long or short term 24/7. It also provides care for employees (work injuries), auto accident clients, elderly, young adults, children, mentally challenged, physically disabled, etc.
For 13 years, she has developed her skills by serving as a mentor and franchise owner. She has been able to mentor hundreds of teens and young adults nationwide. Her mission is to partner with and convince like-minded individuals to join the Compassionate Helpers franchise to assist communities with activities of daily living such as (personal care, respite care, companion care, etc.
She is also the owner of an Allstate Insurance agency located in Michigan. Likewise an advisor/ partner for a healthcare technology software firm that is expected to launch in fall 2022.
She is so passionate and extremely active in health care services making sure that those in need of personalized service received it.
In 2020, she was acknowledged for her great work within neighborhoods and was announced to be one of the first women of color to own a home health care franchise corporation. That same year, she founded Compassionate Helpers Franchising LLC to provide franchise opportunities to those who are interested in turning their passion into profits. The family-owned and operated company has expanded to many areas across the United States with 14 locations.
She holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, and a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Nutrition. She is an active member of the (VIP) National Association of Professional Women and the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
