Hundreds of teens turned up yesterday at the Mirinda Miss Teen official launch at Garden City Rooftop in Kampala. This year’s Miss Teen dubbed the ‘Selfie Edition’ has been spiced up with many activities where teens will be given a chance to express themselves, unveil their talents while having fun.
The teens who were visibly excited yesterday showcased talent in different areas including Singing, rapping, dance and fashion. The Judges also took some of the day’s contestants through the routine Question and Answer session where the majority fared well.

The Judges who included brand Ambassador and reigning Miss Uganda Nakiyaga Muhamad Zahara were also in high spirits as they too participated in some of the day’s activities like the ‘Selfie challenge’ and dancing where they pulled off weird strokes to the amusement of the crowd.

Also present was the reigning Miss Teen 2015 and her entourage as they witnessed the new challengers enjoying themselves as they won goodies from Mirinda and other sponsors in preparation for the big do which is scheduled for September this year. School tours will start as soon as second term opens.

There were also performances from Fille and Mun G who wowed the crowd with some energetic moves while the MC’s kept the teens glued as they engaged them with jokes. There were also table games for those who needed to get some fresh air.
