This afternoon marked a special moment in the lead-up to the Duchess International Conference, as we had the great privilege of meeting the Honorable Member of Parliament, Mrs. Mbène Faye, the Fourth Vice-President of the National Assembly of Senegal.
Welcomed graciously into her home, our delegation had the pleasure of presenting the vision and purpose of the upcoming conference, as well as extending an official invitation to her. Her openness, warmth, and deep sense of commitment to the empowerment of women left a lasting impression on us.
Mrs. Faye’s track record as a leader and advocate for inclusive progress aligns perfectly with the spirit of this year’s conference theme. Engaging with such an inspiring woman leader reinforces the importance of meaningful dialogue and collaboration in driving real change across the continent.
