The excitement just got up several notches!
It’s an a-list cast ensemble for director Jeymes Samuel’s ‘The Harder They Fall’ headed for Netflix.
Leading the pack of a-listers is Pacific Rim and Beast of No Nation star Idris Elba alongside Da 5 Bloods’ Jonathan Majors announced last year. New additions include Watchmen and If Beale Street Could Talk star Regina King, Zazie Beetz (Joker, Deadpool 2), Lakeith Stanfield (Uncut Gems), Delroy Lindo among others.
Producers include rapper Jay-Z, James Lassiter, Lawrence Bender and Jeymes Samuel who makes his directorial debut – also known as The Bullitts – known for previously collaborating with Jay-Z on “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack. The duo will team up to write and produce original music for “The Harder They Fall.”
The Harder They Fall is an all-black Western. It tells the story of an outlaw named Nat Love (Jonathan Majors), who discovers that the man who killed his parents (Idris Elba) two decades ago is being released from prison. Nat then reunites with his gang to track the criminal down, seeking revenge, movie web reports.
