An enthusiastic team of Entrepreneurs and creative artists are giving back to the community in a colorful way. Following the success of the first edition of the Art For A Cause Campaign, Socially Africa returns with a second edition.
Adaora Mbelu-Dania, Founder at Socially Africa comments “It’s been a very humbling and exciting journey, being able to inspire Nigeria’s future – Our Kids, through Art. The visual experiences at these schools aren’t much to write home about. But we are changing that. While painting a wall may seem trivial, we have found that it gets the kids excited to attend school every day, knowing that there’s a bigger picture, and a world that cares about them.’
Art For A Cause is a community development project. It is a platform to inspire and educate the public using Art as a medium of communication. This second Edition is set to take place on the 6th of October 2016 at 2 selected public schools in Lagos.
Co-Founder at Socially Africa, Osa Okunkpolor (Osa Seven), added, “Our goal is quite simple – Educate and inspire a generation through Art & Love. We visit Two Schools every Two Months, and make sure that we don’t leave the kids the same way we found them. We spend time with them, and paint on their hearts, and that’s priceless.”

About Socially Africa:
At Socially Africa, Our goal is to build a generation of leaders and problem solvers that transcends entrepreneurship and professional success. We want to create and nurture a culture of giving among our communities, because we understand that this is OUR world, not his, hers, or theirs. Rather than spend time blaming the government, we want to create positive changes in our communities. We believe that giving doesn’t always have to be financial, and that everyone has something to give – Time, Effort, Love, Money, and Knowledge. Through personal contributions and crowd funding, we execute impactful projects that extend beyond donating to people in need. We take time out to be fully involved in the giving process – spending time with the people to whom we are giving.
