Today November 25th we celebrate super talented Ghanaian/Nigerian actress, model, television personality and philanthropist, Chinyere Yvonne Okoro!
A native of Abia State, South Eastern Nigeria, Yvonne was born and bred in Accra, Ghana the first child of her mother and the fifth child of her father.
The melanin beauty studied at the University of Ghana where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Linguistics. She later proceeded to University De-Nantes in France to study Press Civilization, Drama and Marketing
In 2002, Yvonne Okoro made her acting debut in Ghanaian movie industry popularly known Ghallywood, with the film “Sticking to the Promise” and has since established herself as one of its authoritative figures.
In 2010, she received the Best Actress Award at the Ghana Movie Awards and four awards at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards and still counting.
