Visionary. Trailblazer. Power woman! ?? Forget humility, no one truly loves to spill sweat and blood behind the scenes without being recognised and applauded. So we ask then, what truly makes a man stand out in the abundance of talents? Fate? destiny? Or perhaps luck? If there’s one thing the innovators, the game changers, the nonconformists aka rebels know – No one ever gets a crown by playing safe – spark is where the thrill lies. But it takes CONFIDENCE with a capital C to pull down archaic structures and beliefs to clinch the trailblazer crown.

2004, Nigeria would witness an emotional uphevel when a then unknown Bisi Alimi, under the umbrella of @FunmiIyanda ‘s highly rated groundbreaking breakfast television show – ‘New Dawn’ would come out on national television, becoming the country’s first ever HIV/LGBT advocate. The hit show which launched in 2000 ran successfully for eight years proudly hosting highly influential personalities and industry bigwigs, maintaining its brilliance, in depth analysis of topical issues, refreshing dialogue and highly engaging status till the very end in 2008. It makes history as the longest-running independently produced show on NTA.
