To a cultural enthusiast, chivalrous celebration is in perfect order to Morounranti Ashabi, who is an advocate of the rich tourism potential in the South Western Part of Nigeria.

The delectable Ashabi is a Yoruba cultural ambassador to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), House of Oduduwa, and Ile-Ife.

As an inspirational individual with several years of experience in the marketing communications industry, her mantra has always been building teams, motivating excellence, and achieving results.

Ashabi is a progressive business driver who while at Insight Communications played the key role in the awareness campaign and launch of the One Thousand Naira (N1,000) notes into the Nigerian economy. She was also instrumental in the launching of the Heineken 60cl brand into the Nigerian market, as well as the re-launch of the Amstel Malta brand. Due to her exemplary dedication to work, she has won several recommendations and awards with her discharge of competence.

The beautiful cynosure to behold has served as the director of communications in the 2006 pre-election campaign of Mr. Babatunde Fashola, where she coordinated the expression and use of marketing communication concepts to reach the target audience. In the course of this assignment, she came up with the cliché “Eko o ni baje”.

Also between 2011 and 2014, Ashabi served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Tourism and Inter-Governmental Relations.

Happy birthday to an ambassador of Yoruba culture

The vivacious cultural ambassador holds a Masters of Business Administration from Business School Netherlands. As a trendy industrialist and entrepreneur, she is seasoned in parlaying her knowledge into great bottom line results.

As a humanitarian, Ashabi is engaged in a non-governmental project “Omoluabi Ile Yoruba”. This social intervention movement is geared to rejuvenate the social, cultural and moral values that define the Yoruba people.

Her quest for being a big gun in culture and tourism scope of life is incomplete with a worldwide travel agency, and this inspiration stems to the birth of Ashabi Travel and Tours and PS100 Events, which is an event management company.

May this new year pace you with a promising trajectory unto the summit of success.
