Aramide’s journey of professional excellence is anchored by a strong academic foundation. She holds a B.Sc. in Sociology from Bayero University, Kano, and an MBA from Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso. Her commitment to professional advancement is further reflected in her credentials as a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration, an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Her career began in 1998 at Habib Nigeria Bank, where she entered the banking profession and began building the experience that would shape her remarkable trajectory. She subsequently spent ten years at Guaranty Trust Bank, rising to middle management level and developing strong expertise in customer service, relationship management and banking operations. Early in her career, she was recognised as Best Customer Service Staff, an achievement that spoke to the excellence and dedication she brought to her work.
From there, Aramide continued to advance through increasingly senior positions at Wema Bank, United Bank for Africa and Access Bank. At Access Bank, she served in regional management roles and as Divisional Head, Affluent Professionals, gaining broader leadership experience while driving business development, strengthening client relationships and managing strategic portfolios.
Her professional journey later took her to NOVA Merchant Bank Limited, where she served as Group Head, Corporate and Commercial Banking. In that capacity, she played a significant role in shaping and implementing the bank’s corporate and commercial banking strategy, further establishing her reputation as a strategic and commercially minded leader.
At Lotus Bank, she rose to the position of General Manager and served as Divisional Head, Business Development for Lagos and Port Harcourt. Her responsibilities included driving business growth, deepening client relationships and executing strategic initiatives across two of Nigeria’s key commercial centres. These roles further demonstrated her ability to combine strategic vision with practical execution and strong people leadership.
Beyond her impressive professional record, Aramide has remained deeply committed to mentoring, coaching and developing young professionals. She is recognised as a disciplined and results-driven leader who understands that sustainable success is built not only through business performance but also through people, relationships and the cultivation of high-performing teams.
