Yetunde Dada also known as Yetudada is a shining example of a young woman who is succeeding in the tech industry. She works as a product manager at McKinsey Company.
She received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and technology management from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Formerly based in Johannesburg, working as a data-product manager and also as a consultant at Engineers Without Borders South Africa.
After completing her MBA at Said Business School, Oxford, she joined McKinsey as a product manager with the QuantumBlack team in London, the firm’s first open-source software tool for data scientists which focuses on advanced analytics to help clients make more strategic business decisions. As a result of her work on it, she was selected as one of the three candidates for the Young Digital Leader of the Year award.
Yetunde has experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, Innovation Consultant, and Data Product Manager at Absa (formerly known as Barclays Africa Group Limited), as well as at Engineers Without Borders South Africa.
She developed the virtual reality social impact movie Atomu, which had its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
