There’s hardly any student of personal development and self- awareness who’s not gotten intoxicated at one point or another, by the commercialization of this very sexy law. And yes let’s face it, amongst all universal laws, this one seems to have a certain appeal and sexiness to it, no wonder it’s receiving so much attention.
Since my mentor shot the movie “the secret” he and fellow teachers became overnight sensations. Much fame has been tied to the law of attraction, the secret and the experts who now try to get their followers to obsess about it.
Without undermining any of the teachings and teachers out there who are self-proclaimed gurus on the topic, I want to share with you a few things you probably never knew regarding the law of attraction and more specifically, the law of attraction when it comes to attracting more money.
Some personal development students are trying to control this law in an attempt to magnetize money to them with little success. For such individuals the disappointment might leave them disheartened and confused over its validity. Other people are still a bit too disconnected from higher truths and so the very fact that there is such a law sounds whimsical and more like a fairy tale for children and die-hard romantics like me J
So before I share with you a few huge ideas, let me shed a little light on the validity of the law of attraction. It is a natural universal law that is unalterable, immutable and just as precise as any physical law such as gravity.
In the same way the laws of mathematics can be relied upon without fail, so too can the law of attraction be relied upon to work to perfection. Whether you know it, believe in it and consciously align with it or not, it is forever working in your life. But having received this brief understanding of the reality and existence of the law of attraction, what are some of the things you need to know about it in relation to you using it more effectively, so you can have more money?
#1. It’s not about studying and controlling the law of attraction so you can magnetize money:
Rather it’s about aligning yourself and controlling the aspect of you that the law of attraction and all universal laws are always communicating with (And no – it’s not your intellect or logical reasoning).
This means that you don’t really need to study and obsess about the law of attraction in the same way you don’t need to study and know about the law of gravity. It can work for you whether you do a critical study of it or not! But you do need to learn how to align with it so that it can serve you the way it was meant to.
#2. The law of attraction doesn’t not work:
You are always attracting something toward you in each moment. So the idea that you need to “make it work” is really irrelevant especially when it comes to attracting more money, because even the lack of money is the law of attraction at work.
It’s matching you up with the wrong side of money; the negative or absence of this subject, but nonetheless it is still working perfectly.
I often give an example of my journey – Growing up in the slums, being dirt poor was normal for me and I was really good at using the law of attraction (unconsciously). It was still working to perfection in my life even then and since I was really good at being poor, the law was really good at matching me up with perfect conditions to reflect how I was! I had to make certain great transformations to start getting on the right side of this law to the point where I gained the ability to live in the presence of my desires.
Many people are stuck here, because once they find a law of attraction teacher, they start looking for “something” out here that that they can do or copy to make the law of attraction work – instead of seeking a revelation. What revelation?
#3. Well, that’s our third big idea that you won’t hear lots of people openly sharing… The law of attraction is always at work and constantly picking up your commands so it can reflect to you matching conditions. And this happens within your inner mind: the aspect of your mind that hosts your feelings and emotions. Where all your beliefs, convictions, habits and concept of Self are stored.
The communication also referred to, as vibrational offerings are what determine what you will be matched with. They are just like radio or television frequencies. If you want to watch MTV you have to switch your television to the frequency of it otherwise you’ll never get to experience it.
Your mind has the outer objective mind that makes up your personality and an inner mind that literally runs the show of your life, as it is the builder of your body and outer circumstances. Whatever the inner mind says, the whole world has no option but to confirm affirmatively no matter how negative the command given is.
In other words, if your inner mind holds beliefs of you being poor or not having enough, no amount of affirmations and visualizations will change the reality of your life because your intellect has nothing to do with changing realities. That is the work of your inner mind where “how you feel” and I mean how you really, really, really feel – is what determines your dominant communication with universal laws and in turn, what you will manifest.
#4. The other big idea about the law of attraction and using it to attract more money is that your efforts and commitment to following most of the strategic steps and processes that most teachers talk about when it comes to manifesting more wealth may not be fruitful for you. If you have noticed this to be the case for you after applying affirmations, visualizations and so on with little to no results, I wish to bring in some new hope into your life. You don’t need to obsess about visualizing or invest a fortune in law of attraction classes (unless that’s what you love), because manifesting more money will become effortless and natural once you master and learn to control– not the law of attraction but the commander who issues out orders to which this law unfailingly sets out to deliver.
Money and financial prosperity is all about understanding and establishing the right state of consciousness because wealth is a state of consciousness. Money is only an outward symbol that the law of attraction brings to confirm and affirm something…makes sense?
#5. Which lands us on the last big idea that I will share for now… All that has been stated since the beginning of this article leads us back to the one revelation; the commander! Your mind.
It’s perfectly fine that different teachers will tell you their way of reaching success and magnetizing money. Methodologies that have worked for them and different strategies that at times contradict each other, which are meant to make you a master practitioner of this law. Years ago I even invested a large sum of money to be certified as a law of attraction practitioner can you believe it? Yes, I am no different from you… I was lured into the same stuff, but because of my curious nature and my stubbornness, I couldn’t settle for some of the ideas that I soon realized just weren’t working for me or based on principle.
As such, my own inner searching for truth has led me to these ideas I share with you today. You don’t need anyone to teach you how to control the law of attraction and you are naturally a practitioner of this law so don’t waste energy with that stuff. Instead spend all your energy learning about your mind, renewing it and cultivating new commands because that is what counts when it comes to attracting to you any desire especially financial prosperity.
