One of the most influential Nigerians in the UK, a highly respected community leader dedicated to a life of service to the community, Yemisi Jenkins MBE, MBPsS is the G7 – Devolved Administration (DA) Engagement & Transition Lead at UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), a position she took up June 2021. She also serves as Chair British Nigeria Safeguarding Consortium (Aug 2017- Present).

Yemisi Jenkins MBE, MBPsS makes history as the first African Afro Caribbean Manager to the Port of Tilbury.

The top shot, a loud voice in the fight for equality, diversity and inclusion, boasts of over two decades wealth of experience in operational and strategic delivery across Civil Service, serving in different capacities. Her passion for impact also sees her serve as a mentor to young ones.

In 2016 Jenkins was appointed to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) by HRH Charles Prince of Wales for contributions towards UK public service.

A stellar resume, previously she served as National Community Engagement Lead, Nigeria for the UK Home Office Immigration Enforcement (August 2016 – July 2021), as well as President, Association of British-Nigerian Law Enforcement officers, (ABLE).

A graduate of General and Applied Psychology from the University of Jos through hard work, dedication and an uncommon heart to serve has well deservedly racked up several awards and accolades including the Honorary Award from the Nigerian High Commission for her meritorious services to the Community and the Home Office (HO) Equality Diversity and Inclusion Advisor (EDIA) of the year.
