Be STRONG. BOLD. FEARLESS – I’VE GOT YOUR BACK ? Zuri and her cub Kahari at #WoburnSafariPark@wildonplanet

The lioness, said to be about nine feet long weighing between 265 and 395 lbs are super fast in nature and do the majority of the hunting while the male, about 10 feet in lengths weighing between 330 and 550 lbs
charges in to eat the first bounty aka The Lion’s Share – the best part of the animal meat leaving the remains, scraps, meat and bones for the lioness and cubs.

Understandably, lions get all the attention thanks to their glorious manes – which in fact attracts the lioness who favor darker, denser manes as a sign of vitality and strength – although fact remains, no matter how majestic this big cat is, it depends on the hunting skills of its female counterpart’s hunting skills for survival while they defend the pride’s frontline from impending danger.

Lioness are fiercely protective in nature especially when it comes to her cubs. They are the only big cats to live in groups, called prides- family groups where the young are taken care of, protected, groomed and thought hunting skills for survival by a group of lioness.

They are usually found in the Savannas, grassland and open woodland: Sub-saharan Africa and very small population in India

I love all the animal but this one has my heart in them. The glory, the personality, the breathtaking glare, tge fascinating looks ,this animal has ,I don’t think any one else has. This shot should b rewarded as best in the world and should b in GUNIESS BOOK OF RECORD. The mind blowing shot gives an impression as mom is secretly watching over her cub as she can sense the predicted danger coming her cub’s way and is ready to defend the cub in seconds.
