Originally known as Good Morning, Miss Bliss at Inception in 1988, Saved by the Bell also featured Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), Dustin Diamond (Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers) among others. Original cast is set to return.
The Saved by the Bell revival will also welcome a new flock of students.
Voorhies who initially wasn’t invited yet to the revival on the Peacock series after it was announced had opened up on being hurt:
“I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the Saved by the Bell reunion, as well as other cast members’ events,” the actress, who was previously diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder, said on the Dr. Oz Show in Feb. “Yet of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision.”
The new series follows a group of students at Bayside High, a well-funded school for students from upper-class and lower-class families. The main cast of students includes Belmont Cameli, Dexter Darden, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Josie Totah and Haskiri Velazquez, reports say.
The Saved by the Bell revival will debut on Peacock on Nov. 25.
