above it all, today she is a super successful actress, singer, children’s author and co-host of popular talk show host The Red Table Talk.
Born in 1971 in Baltimore, Maryland and raised by her mother and beloved grandmother, Jada discovered her love for the performing arts real early. She enrolled in piano, ballet, and tap dance lessons. During High School but got mixed up with drugs.
While attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, Jada focused on her passion, acting. Jada got her start in the acting world through featuring on an episode of True Colors in 1990, a few cameos and Pinkette got a recurring role on Bill Cosby’s NBC sitcom A Different World in 1991. She received further acclaim through the movie Menace II Society. However the petite star
got her big break starring in The Nutty Professor alongside Eddie Murphy. The 48 year old has since starred in more than 20 feature films, including Set It Off(1996), Scream 2 (1997), Ali (2001), The Matrix Reloaded ), Collateral (2004) amongst others.
As a singer, way back in 2002, Pinkett Smith launched her music career helping to create heavy metal band Wicked Wisdom. Alongside her actor husband Will Smith, she has a production company, and has had producing credits in films, documentaries, and television series. She also wrote a children’s book, Girls Hold Up This World, which was published in 2004 and further created her own women fashion label, Maja, same year.
Yet again, 2018, saw the actress take on a different path, teaming up with her mom Adrienne, and daughter Willow Smith to launch a web television talk show Red Table Talk on Facebook Watch which has since gone on to feature top personalities from across the globe becoming a fans favorite. ?
