Michelle Williams who launched her film career right from childhood first gained recognition many thanks to teen drama ‘Dawson’s Creek.’
She further rose to critical acclaim with her Oscar-nominated performances in ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ ‘Blue Valentine,’ ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and ‘Manchester by the Sea.’
The screen star is the recipient of several accolades, including two Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards and one Tony Award.
Williams, a strong advocate of equal pay is noted for keeping her private life private: married thrice: she is presently married to theater director Thomas Kail, with whom she has a child.
