Mrs. Mosun Belo-Olusoga is Lead Consultant and Chief Marketing Officer for The KRC Limited has held several noteworthy positions in the banking world including serving as former Chairman, Access Bank PLC, Nigeria upon stepping down January 2020.
The renowned banker also served as Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministries of Internal Affairs, Science & Technology and Power.
She sits on the board of several renowned companies: as a Non-Executive Director on several other boards, including Premium Pensions Limited, Action Aid and MTNN Foundation. She has served as the Chairman of ELAN, Non-Executive Director of Asset & Resources Management, and is the past Chairperson, Equipment and Leasing Association of Nigeria.
A pioneer staff of Guaranty Trust Bank, the top executive who began her professional training at Coopers & Lybrand qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 winning 1st place merit award as well as the award of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria prize for best qualifying candidate.
Mrs. Mosun Belo-Olusoga Mosun everly passionate about knowledge and empowering women and the youth is well schooled, bagging degrees from some of the world’s most prestigious institutions; she graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Second Class Upper in Economics in 1979; she is also an alumna of the Harvard Business School, Kellogg School of Management and Columbia Business School in the USA, as well as IMD in Switzerland and INSEAD in France.
She retired as Executive Director, Investment Banking from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc in 2006, she also held responsibility for Risk Management, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Transaction Service and Settlements (local and foreign operations). She also served as Acting Managing Director of Trust Bank of Africa Limited in 2003.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants & Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
