Joyce Obaseki (BCAc), is a Nigerian-born British teacher coach and entrepreneur. She is the founder of Grant a Smile, a non-profit organization that is geared at assisting qualifying families that need help in the capacities of laundry, house cleaning, or moral support. Grant a Smile is the UK’s first and only intervention support service outside the hospitals seeking to fill in the gap in the provision of support for children whose parent(s) are battling chronic and life-threatening medical conditions.
Joyce Obaseki was a nominee for the Community Organization for Multi-Strand at the National Diversity Awards 2018. However, she was a recipient for The British Citizen Awards (BCAs) with a Medal of Honour, inscribed with the words ‘For the Good of the Country’.
