Women4Africa (W4A) is an annual event dedicated to celebrating African women who have made a great impact in their communities.
This year’s event will be held on May 21st in London (UK). The ‘Women For Africa Awards UK’ seeks to honour and award a number of women from African countries at a prestigious venue in central London. The categories have been carefully picked so as to encompass women in their many different roles.
The event which attracts more than seven hundred guests is an African-led attempt to support the call for equality and recognition for the African woman. This programme is in line with multiple global strategies to empower Women, including the United Nations 50/50 call.
The event will be hosted by ‘Lolo’ of Wazobia FM.
