Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Mildred Okwo, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie & More on Elle Magazine SA’s List of “50 Women Shaping Africa”

Elle Magazine SA put together a list of 50 African women who have helped shape the continent in their August 2016 issue and a number of Nigerian women made the list.

The women on the list are referred to as “The Incredible” and are recognized for their outstanding efforts in shaping Africa. In an article put together by international writer Dimeji Alara, he reveals that the careful selection was made from different works of life and ages, and that the women were selected mostly for their leading positive influences on the continent.

From Nigeria we have actress and humanitarian Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Chartered accountant and activist Oby Ezekwesili, social Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Modupe Ozolua, writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, filmmakerMildred Okwo, Style House Files director Omoyemi Akerele, track and fieldBlessing Okagbare and more.

The full list will be released in the August 2016 issue of the mag.

South African supermodel Candice Swanepoel is on the cover of the magazine.
