Maudlyn Akosua Awuku is a leader in women’s and youth empowerment, hailing from Ghana and now residing in the United Kingdom. She is known for her passion in promoting women’s leadership and social advancement on a global scale.
Maudlyn has been recognized for her exceptional efforts with prestigious awards such as the Young Achievers Award at the UK House of Parliament, the Global Peace Ambassador Award, and the 50 Influential African Women in Development Award. She actively promotes quality education, gender equality, and climate action, aligning her work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Maudlyn’s extensive experience includes working with organizations like the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Ghanas Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She serves as Ghanas Delegate and UN Women UKs Delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations. Additionally, she holds board memberships and has spoken at international events such as TEDx, panels, and conferences.
Maudlyn holds a masters in Project Management from the University of Salford Manchester, UK, where she received the prestigious Alumni Rising Star Award. Her other qualifications include degrees in Sociology and Political Studies, an Executive MBA, and a Diploma in French Language Studies.
