The decision was taken due to the compelling need to enhance internal adminstration as well as ease the burden on the Director General of the foundation, Mr. Olabode Garbadeen and greater mobilization.
The entire members of the foundation worldwide unanimously endorsed the top executive for the coveted spot due to her doggedness, commitment and unparalleled humanitarian spirit, Garbadeen announced.
The newly appointment DDG will also double as the Director of Corporate Networking, a position she has been holding in the foundation prior to the recent appointment, it was stated in the announcement.
