A truly inspirational person with a heart of gold, ever looking for ways to impact your world, thank you for your selflessness, passion, and uttermost dedication. Without mincing words permit me to say I am in no small measure inspired by your journey.
Driven by the need to further impact with the pledge of service, making a difference in the community and beyond, you were inducted into Rotary Club Isolo in 2017.
Owing to an unprecedented track record of purposeful living, it was a well-deserving honor on July 18th, 2021, when Rotarian Tejumola Taiwo Raji was officially sworn in as the 41st President of the Isolo District 9110 Nigeria at the Banquet Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Rotary sets its lens each year on bettering humanity via humanitarian support, powering projects on poverty alleviation, empowerment, education, health, environmental sustainability, as well as promotion of peace among diverse ethnic nationalities.
Worthy of note, under her able leadership, Rotary Club has already powered groundbreaking initiatives touching lives; in August 2021 flagged off a worthy milestone through its star project, the construction of her Cervical Cancer Centre project, at the Isolo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos, with aim of crippling cancer effect and saving lives, offering free medical services to girls and women: subsidized screening, vaccination, and treatment.
This year, in February 2022, the club notably with her Vocational Service Award honored deserving members of staff in General Hospital Isolo, namely Chief Nursing Officer Mrs. Regina Olufunke Olusola and Senior Data Processing Officer, Mr. Ademigbuji Adedapo Ajani for contributions towards ensuring patients receive the best care in a conducive environment.
Through its Rotary Day of Service on January 29th, 2022, in partnership with General Hospital Isolo, free basic health checks: blood sugar, blood level, cholesterol, BMI, malaria checks, among others were carried out.
Other proposed projects by the Isolo Rotary Club include: providing boreholes to the Isolo market, donating ambulances to the Isolo General Hospital, feeding the needy, to name but a few.
As you further embark on more laudable initiatives, giving back and lighting up your world may all of life’s brightest joys come your path with lasting memories to show for a lifetime!
