British-Nigerian Socio-Political Campaigner and TV Personality, Susan Jumoke Fajana-Thomas has been awarded the Order of British Empire (OBE) at Buckingham Palace.

Susan who took to her social media pages to share the great news, was recognised for her work in local government and gender equality.

Susan Jumoke Fajana-Thomas, is also a well-established community communication consultant, accomplished politician, and renowned TV personality with over three decades of dynamic experience.

Her career began as a television presenter and evolved into activism and politics, making her a versatile and effective multi-platform speaker and communicator.

As a Member of Hackney Council and former civic Mayor of the borough, Susan has demonstrated her dedication to public service.

Her outstanding reputation has earned her a spot on the 2018 list of 100 Most Reputable Africans, an honor she shares with three African Presidents.
