The Africa Community in Surrey & Sussex, ACISS has wrapped the year 2022 with a grand-styled celebration that brought together people from diverse backgrounds in communal unity.
This is in a bid to further build a strong ecosystem that will serve as a home away from home for Africans in Surrey and Sussex as well as promote initiatives that will be sustainable for everyone.
Some of the highlights of the celebration include a musical performance by James (Jim) Pinchen, who led a group of talented musicians playing a range of instruments including drums, violin, and piano. Santa also made an appearance at the celebration, delighting children with gifts.
The event which was fully supported and funded by Alliance for Growing Health Together and Horley Community Centre, was aimed at the black-led community, to create a strong ecosystem that serves as a home away from home for Africans in Surrey and Sussex, as well as promoting initiatives that benefit the entire community.
The Africa Community in Surrey and Sussex has had a successful and enjoyable year focused on building love and togetherness among Africans in this region.
The organization’s goal is to bring, support, and unite Africans in the area, fostering strong personal and communal relationships that promote growth.
