Justina Alders-Sheya, a seasoned financial expert with over 20 years of international experience, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Bank Windhoek, one of Namibia’s leading financial institutions. Her appointment, effective from February 12, underscores the bank’s commitment to enhancing its leadership team with seasoned professionals to drive innovation and deliver exceptional service in the financial sector.
Alders-Sheya currently serves as a Fund Manager in the Financial Inclusion fund management team at Triodos Investment Management, a renowned leader in impact investing. In this role, she manages several funds, including the Triodos Microfinance Fund, Triodos Fair Share Fund, and SFRE Fund. With a background focusing on investment management, impact investing, and financial inclusion, Alders-Sheya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role at Bank Windhoek.
Prior to joining Triodos IM, Alders-Sheya held key positions at EY and the ING Group, where she honed her skills in banking, corporate finance, and asset management. Her academic qualifications include a postgraduate degree in accounting from the Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam, a Master’s degree in financial economics from the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Namibia.
