Elizabeth Ozua’s journey to becoming a leading businesswoman in the UK started in Nigeria, where she was born and raised. As the third of eight children of Sir C.C. and Lady Felicia Mordi, Elizabeth was brought up with a strong work ethic and a passion for education. She received her BA and master’s degrees from the Universities of Benin and Ibadan, respectively, before embarking on a career in academia as a lecturer at her alma mater, Uniben.

However, Elizabeth’s life took a different turn when she relocated to London with her young family. She found work at London Transport, where she met the person who would introduce her to the world of direct sales over 24 years ago. Her passion, consistency, and commitment led her to great success in all the various businesses she tried her hands on.

Elizabeth went on to become a Mary Kay Independent Sales Director in the UK, a position she held until she was promoted to the very first National Sales Director in the country. For 14 consecutive years, Elizabeth has unfailingly held her position as the number one National Sales Director in the UK. She educates, motivates, recognizes, and leads over 2000 women as a National Sales Director for a global direct selling company. Her unparalleled success has earned her several prestigious awards and recognition.

But Elizabeth’s achievements extend beyond her direct sales business. She is an international speaker, motivator, and trainer, coaching and mentoring people across the globe. Her passion lies in enriching the lives of all who cross her path, and her motto is “help enough people get what they want, and you will get what you want.”

Elizabeth firmly believes in the great potential of everyone she comes across, believing that we are all somebody’s and that there are no nobody’s. “For God made it so,” she says. She also believes that when we work together as a team, we achieve great things. Her greatest joy comes from watching people succeed.

Despite her busy schedule, Elizabeth is quietly and privately involved in charitable work. She is married to Dr. Peter Ozua, and they have two children and a son-in-law. Elizabeth continues to make great strides as she expands her business across Europe and beyond.

Elizabeth Ozua’s story is one of determination, hard work, and a passion for helping others. She has shown that with the right attitude and mindset, anyone can achieve success, regardless of their background or circumstances. As we celebrate International Women’s Day in 2023, let us draw inspiration from Elizabeth’s example and strive to make a positive impact in our own lives and the lives of those around us.
