Badmus is a well-loved actress, screenwriter, performer, and influencer on social media.
Badmus was raised in Ijebu Ode, Nigeria, where she also attended her elementary and high schools. She continued on to the University of Ibadan to study theater arts before transferring to Lagos State University, where she earned an M.Sc. in economics.
Although Badmus began her acting career in 2000, it wasn’t until she starred in the Yoruba films Jenifa and Omo Ghetto in 2008 that she gained widespread attention. Her success in the Nigerian entertainment business, which has since seen her star in both main and supporting roles in a number of Yoruba and English films, is largely due to these two films. She has won numerous honors.
