Today August 2nd we celebrate one of Nigeria’s most distinguished personalities, Her Excellency Dr. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady and wife of the Executive Governor of Kwara State Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
An epitome of beauty and brains;
A diplomatic expert with over 25 years experience in Foreign Relations, Her Excellency was born on the 2nd of August, 1967 in Lagos, South West Nigeria to the prominent Lagos family, the Davies. Her late father, Hezekiah Olufela Davies, was a trained journalist, prolific writer, and author.
Her Excellency had her early education in the United States but later rounded up her studies in her home country Nigeria.
Before taking on the esteemed position as First Lady, she already shone brightly as her brilliance saw her serve in several capacities including being Minister/Deputy Head Industry, Trade, and Investment, Nigeria High Commission London in 2015.
The First Lady of Kwara State, Dr. Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq through her non-governmental organization the Ajike People’s Support Centre has empowered women, youth, and children.
