Beloved hit series Sex And The City is headed for HBO Max and we’ve got the juice!
According to news outlets, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are all set to make a comeback as their beloved characters in a 10-episode HBO Max series called ‘And Just Like That’ and an impressive check comes in the mix for each actress at a whopping $1 million per episode.
All three are set to star in the show as well as serve as executive producers.
However, when the revival was announced on Jan. 10, Kim Cattrall who played Samantha Jones in the original and had been vocal about her not joining the Sex and the City revival wasn’t mentioned on the promotion.
According to a press release, “The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s,” the description explained. “The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York late spring.”
“Sex and the City” was created by Darren Star based on Candace Bushnell’s 1997 book of the same name. The original series premiered on HBO in 1998 and ran for six seasons until 2004.
