over-emphasized as women troop enmass pulling their husband along to The fifth edition of Africa’s largest Awards ceremony for Women in Europe and the Commonwealth which saw the elevation of African Women with recognition of their activities through award presentation, came up on Saturday 21st, May 2016 at The Great Hall, Kensington London, United Kingdom.Gbedu magazine reveals that Women4Africa is steadily growing its vision of elevating the ordinary African woman doing extraordinary things.Consequently, Award was given to Wife of Nigeria’s President, who was the Special guest of Honour and Special Woman award recipient, Mrs Aisha Buhari. She was ably represented by an official delegation of 3 Governors wives led by Mrs Florence Ajimobi wife of the Oyo state governor, she was accompanied by the Wife of the governor of Ebonyi State Mrs Umahi and Zamfara state Mrs Yari.
The Senior Special Advisor to the President on foreign and diaspora affairs, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa was in attendance and the Founders of Women4Africa, Sam and Tola Onigbanjo, were delighted at the kind gesture of Mrs Buhari, in response to her official statement which vowed to keep on elevating “The continent of Africa and its amazing Women”.
