Serena Williams has announced a new addition to her jewelry collection called By My Side.
Inspired by the close bond the tennis champ shares with daughter, Olympia, 3 and her mum Oracene Price, the collection aims to celebrate the special bond between moms and daughters, the courage and perseverance.
“My heroes are moms because women are superheroes,” said Williams in a written statement.
“Being a mom is super important, but also being a leader so my daughter can look at me and say, ‘This is what my mom did, I aspire to do that, and I want to be better…it’s really important to me to inspire the next generation because that’s what the future is.”
Announcing the news on Instagram, Williams wrote alongside photos of the new set: “I just launched a brand new collection with @serenawilliamsjewerly ? The By My Side collection is matching Jewelry sets for moms and daughters, inspired by my love for my daughter and mama ?”
