Atawodi, currently the Director of Product Management at Google overseeing Creator experience and YouTube studio, brings over a decade of experience in digital technology, communications, and product strategy to the LEGO board. Her impressive career includes roles at notable companies such as Netflix, Uber, and Etisalat (now 9mobile), where she has demonstrated a knack for driving impactful initiatives.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Atawodi’s childhood was characterized by international experiences due to her father’s career in the Nigerian Air Force. She pursued her education in the United Kingdom, studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nottingham and earning a master’s degree in computer science from Imperial College, London.

Atawodi’s career trajectory reflects her passion for innovation and creativity. She began as a software engineer before transitioning to roles that allowed her to lead and shape digital products and strategies. Notably, during her time at Uber, she played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s presence in Nigeria, introducing cash payments for riders in Lagos and driving significant growth in both supply and demand.
