“There are some things you don’t see coming and this chapter of my life has taken me totally by surprise. Nearly three years ago, we were approached by Harvard Business School for a potential case study about EbonyLife. After a year’s research, last November, the EbonyLife case study became part of the compulsory curriculum for all 1st year MBA students.
One year later, I am so pleased to be back on the HBS campus in two capacities; firstly, on appointment as an HBS Executive Fellow and, secondly, to meet with Professor Feng Zhu and his team regarding all the preparations required to make the EbonyLife case study available, via Harvard Business School Online.
Within the next year, our story will be shared with students around the world, including leaders in a wide range of industries, as they seek to enhance their skills and create more impact in the lives of others.
I have said this time and time again – the EbonyLife Group is not free of challenges, but I am pleased with the strides we are making. We operate in a tough business environment, but that will never stop us from giving 100 percent and pushing the boundaries in everything we do.
To the EbonyLife team, we move with love. It’s truly wonderful to be on campus today with Heidi Uys, our head of programming, and Temidayo Makanjuola, my dearest daughter and producer with EbonyLife.
Harvard Business School Online launched as HBX in 2014, to deepen the school’s impact and broaden its reach, while staying true to the HBS mission: to educate leaders who make a difference in the world.”
