Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and More Shine at the Opening Night of ‘Eclipsed’ Play

Last night was the opening night of war drama “Eclipsed,” written by the award-winning playwright Danai Gurira.
The play stars award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o who is making a New York stage debut with ‘Eclipsed’.
Set in 2003 near the end of the civil war in Liberia, the play is about a group of women who are captives of rebels fighting the government.
The opening night was attended Saycon Sengbloh, Pascale Armand, Akosua Busia, director Liesl Tommy, Zainab Jah, Oskar Eustis and more.
Remember in March when we reported the possibility of Common and Lupita dating? He was on hand to support her for her big night.
