Nigeria based fashion designer Lisa Folawiyo and Reni Folawiyo make top 500 of Business of Fashion’s revered list of global fashion influencers.
Lisa Folawiyo is the founder and creative head of her eponymous womenswear label while Reni Folawiyo is the Chief-Executive Founder of lifestyle boutique, Alara.
The BOF list has become a go-to list where you discover the movers and shakers of the global fashion industry. And not everyone makes the list – the exclusive includes blue-chip businesses and creative upstarts that help shape the $1 trillion fashion industry. After receiving hundreds of nominations from current members/influencers, the names go through months of data analysis and research before coming up with a 500 list of individuals that hblaze the trail and have proven their creativity, investment and passion towards the global fashion industry.
Lisa and Reni Folawiyo will join the likes of Fashion Consultant, Omoyemi Akerele and retail pioneers, Tayo & Ayo Amusanwho joined the list in 2014 & 2013, as the only Nigerians in the list.
