It recognises individuals who use their voices and platforms to promote inclusion, empower communities, and expand opportunities for future generations. Across the world, the day honours women whose commitment to service and social progress continues to inspire meaningful change.

Lisa Inviolanta Wanyande is a Kenyan youth advocate, public relations leader, and social activist known for her commitment to youth empowerment, education, human rights, and mental health awareness. In this role, she leads strategic communication, public outreach, and advocacy initiatives that amplify youth voices and encourage active participation in social development.

Beyond her work with OCA, Lisa plays an influential role in continental youth leadership platforms. She also contributes to the Theirworld Global Youth Association, where she advocates for equitable access to education for marginalized children worldwide. Her advocacy continues to address youth empowerment, human rights, mental health awareness, and education equity across communities.
