International Women’s Day celebrates women whose intellectual leadership, humanitarian vision, and professional excellence contribute to meaningful social transformation. It honours women who build platforms that amplify responsible storytelling, promote inclusion, and advance opportunities for communities across generations. Through their work, women leaders help shape institutions, strengthen social structures, and inspire sustainable development.

Abolaji Odunuga is the Founder of Custodian Global Consult Ltd, a strategic communications and advocacy-driven organisation committed to promoting responsible media engagement, community-centred storytelling, and sustainable narrative development. Through her leadership, the organisation supports the growth of influential media platforms including Duchess International Magazine, Duke Media Platform, and Custodian News, all of which contribute to thought leadership, cultural dialogue, and the amplification of diverse social perspectives.

Her passion for social transformation is expressed through Duchess Africa, a charitable initiative focused on education, mentorship, skills development, and economic empowerment for African women and girls. Through this platform, she promotes collaboration, knowledge access, and opportunity creation, recognising that sustainable empowerment enables women to achieve long-term social and economic independence while strengthening community resilience.

Beyond media and humanitarian leadership, Abolaji Odunuga has also built a professional career in information technology. She has worked with Surrey County Council, supporting digital social care systems designed to assist vulnerable populations. Her expertise in IT service management and digital security reflects a commitment to combining technical innovation with public service responsibility and ethical data stewardship.

She also contributes to research and governance dialogue as a Research Associate connected with the University of Kent and serves as a Board Member for Police Race and Diversity Board initiatives, supporting discussions that promote institutional accountability, social justice, and inclusive community safety.

In global service leadership, she achieved historic recognition within Rotary International, becoming the 70th and first Black President of the Rotary Club of Crawley. During her presidency, she strengthened community service programmes, promoted diversity in humanitarian leadership, and advanced inclusive civic engagement. Her appointment as District Public Image Lead for Rotary District 1145 for the 2025–2027 Rotary cycle reflects her strategic influence in public communication across Great Britain and Ireland.

Through a multidisciplinary career that bridges media, technology, research, and humanitarian service, Abolaji Odunuga continues to demonstrate that transformative leadership is built on collaboration, representation, and purposeful social engagement.
