Meet Founder/CEO of Quilted Artistry by Renee, Renée Fleuranges-Valdes. A Black-owned contemporary fiber art business that is taking Charleston, South Carolina by storm.

Quilted Artistry by Renee is a female-owned fiber arts business. “Quilted Artistry” personifies the artist’s intention to elevate her craft from the world of utilitarian quilts to fine art. Her brand is all about bold color, daring style, and intricate movement in life, as well as its art.

Renée moves south from her hometown of Mt. Vernon, New York to North Charleston, South Carolina, where she is working to bring great exposure to her fiber art and also educate the market on the use of the arts in home and office.

Her goal is to help clients build art collections that they are proud to hang in their personal spaces, that show their own sense of style, and bring joy to the room.
