Today Tuesday December 15 we celebrate Nigeria’s “Queen of Afro House,” Niniola Apata!
A force to be reckoned with both home and abroad, the singer, who gained global attention after her 2017 international hit “Maradona didn’t start off on an easy note with heads nodding.
Highly Influenced by music from childhood her passion led her to audition for several televised talent shows in Nigeria but she landed a bag of No’s at first, including an audition at West African Idol, Lagos edition.
Feeling overwhelmed by all the rejections, #Niniola quit music but thankfully, encouraged by her brother who informed her that X Factor was holding auditions in Nigeria she was jarred back to the music world, but yet again fate dealt her a bitter blow, she didnt make it.
At last it all turned around when she made it on to Project Fame West Africa and finished fourth.
That was the begining of a super successful music career, her paths crossed with ace music producer #Sarz , she dished out her debut single “Ibadi” and it’s been a string of hit tracks ever since.
