Hosted by comedian #Bovi – who made a Statement with his #EndSARS costume and media personality/ actress @nancyisime, the much anticipated 14th edition of the Headies Awards -the biggest music award show in Nigeria held virtual on Sunday and live at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos due to COVID-19 restrictions and it was indeed spectacular.
Amongst performers who graced the show are Master KG who pulled off an electric virtual performance. While other artistes like Fireboy, Chike, Joeboy, DJ Neptune and Laycon performed live.
Notable winners include jùjú King, King Sunny Ade who was honoured with the Hall of Fame award, Wizkid nabbed Artist of the Year and Viewers Choice Awards, Omah Lay clinched the Next Rated Act, Ninola with Best Vocal Performance (Female) for – Addicted. Fireboy won big with a total of four awards: Best R&B Single, Best R&B Album, Best Pop Award and Best Headies Revelation, to name but a few.
