On Saturday October 24th at The Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, the highly anticipated 62nd edition of the Miss South Africa pageant took centre stage.
Clinching the coveted crown for the Miss South Africa 2020 is Shudufhadzo Musida, 24, she takes over the reins from Miss South Africa 2019 Sasha-Lee Olivier.
Not just a beauty, the stunner who graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Pretoria last year is currently doing her BA Honours in International Relations at the University of Witwatersrand.
The Top 10 Miss SA finalists who made the cut were Aphelele Mbiyo, Busisiwe Mmotla, Chantelle Pretorius, Jordan van der Vyver, Karishma Ramdev, Lebogang Mahlangu, Melissa Nayimuli, Natasha Joubert, Shudufhadzo Musida and Thato Mosehle.

The beauty pageant this year was judged by an all-female judging line-up of influential personalities including: reigning Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi; former Miss South Africa title holder (1996) Peggy-Sue Khumalo; top radio and TV presenter Anele Mdoda; actress, Leandie du Randt, as well as actress Kim Engelbrecht.
Shudufhadzo Musida, took home a package of prizes and sponsorships in excess of R3 million. She will receive R1 million in cash from the Miss South Africa Organisation, as well as, a fully furnished and serviced apartment at luxurious Central Square by Enza Home and a Mercedes Benz C200 Cabriolet.
The winner and runner-ups of Miss South Africa will represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2020, Miss World 2021, and Miss Supranational 2021.
