Olayinka Salu hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State of Nigeria. She attended Iloro Grammar School, Agege-Lagos State for her secondary education and thereafter proceeded to Methodist Girls High School Yaba -Lagos for A/Levels.

As a young lady, her dream has always been to study law, but could not fulfil this dream due to the societal inequalities which was beyond her control whilst seeking a university education in Nigeria. She gained admission to study English Language at the University of Ife now known as Obafemi Awolowo University and graduated in 1993.

Following her graduation from the university, she was deployed to the Research Department, First Bank of Nigeria PLC for the one year National Youth Service Corps program as part of the involvement of graduates in the development of Nigeria.

On completion of her NYSC year, she started my career at the Research Department of the African Independent Television (AIT), Lagos in 1995. Being an adventurous young woman, She left the AIT in 1998 and started a self employed interior decorator business in 1999 for five years prior leaving for the United Kingdom in 2003.

On getting to the UK, she went back into full time employment and worked in Social Housing Unit with the Westminster City Council and Lambeth Council where she gained over seven years wealth of experience. She moved on to Housing for Women (housing association) where she worked for Five years as an Estate Services Officer.

Her long term desire to fulfil her dream led her to give up full time job, deprived herself of so many comfort and balancing motherly role and responsibilities for her three lovely kids.

She enrolled for the LLB programme at the London South Bank University in 2012 where she have now finished with a First Class Honours in Law.

She hopes to join the Nigeria Law School June 2016 for my Bar 1.
